Click Here My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas follows the Christmas adventures of Minty the pony and all her pony friends. The "Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane" is a very important part of Ponyville, it's the way that the ponies are able to guide Santa Clause to their town during the Christmas season. However, one day Minty breaks the beacon by accident, and because of this Santa might not be able to find his way into town. Minty tries her best to make things right, but her pony friends forgive her and try to show one another that Christmas is not just about presents, but about being in the company of good friends and loved ones. The Ponies forgive Minty, and although she is upset by what she has done, the rest of them try to cheer her up and together they will make the best of the Christmas season and have the best Christmas ever. |

I remember when I was a kid there was a My Little Pony movie, my sisters loved it, and watch the VHS tape almost everyday. However, it was a very violent cartoon from what I remember, with the ponies fighting off an evil enemy who wanted to kidnap the ponies and use some of them as slaves while others he turned into to killer dragons. That's not the case anymore. Besides a few little things breaking here and there, and Minty being a bit clumsy I really could not find anything that jumps out as a big concern for parents. And unless you don't celebrate Christmas as a holiday and don't want your kids seeing a movie about Christmas I recommend this film for all ages.

e My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas is not a movie that adults are going to enjoy, this is one that's more for the kids, mainly young girls than anyone else. It's a movie filled with a lot of Christmas cheer and is a great movie to play around the holiday season for kids to enjoy. While there are not many familiar Christmas songs in the movie the ponies sing many original songs of their own all with the theme of holiday cheer. My little girl loved it. I for one was bored with it as a parent, but its one of those movies that you feel comfortable enough with that you can just let your child have fun on their own watching it, or in the case of my daughter singing and dancing to it. This DVD makes one great gift, as not only does it come with the DVD, but it also comes in a very colorful and Cheerful box cover with a little Minty figurine. The DVD also has a few special features such as two songs to sing along too; "That's What I Love About Christmas" and "Nothing Says Christmas like a Pair of Socks". A Bonus Episode; "Dancing in the Clouds" as well as comes in full screen format with Dolby Digital sound. Overall, not only will I think your children enjoy this holiday themed pony movie, but I think it will also make a great gift for them or any child in your life. It's a fun spirited film that will get any child into the Holiday spirit.
