REVIEW

Click Here This DVD is actually game that you play though your DVD player using your remote control.  Just like normal video games systems of today; one to four players can play the games on this DVD.  This DVD game is based off of the High School Musical movies.  The theme of the entire game brings you right into East High, the home of the Wildcats. As a student in the school you will face many challenges and will be graded upon what your able to do right.  There are plenty of games and features for you to chose from.

Some of the features on the DVD game include the East High Graduation Challenge which is for one to four players that asks you questions and gives you quizzes on your High School Musical knowledge. Upon completion of the quiz you'll be presented with a diploma with your grade on how you did. The Prom night feature is a dancing class.  The feature teaches you in three stages, beginner, intermediate and advanced dances that the cast of High School Musical uses in the movies.  The Yearbook Memory game which is a place the face game, just like playing a matching card games. The Pep Rally game gives you subjects based on a series of claps, this is a game that you play with more than one player, where each one of you will have to say a word based on the subject given, until someone is stumped. The Center Stage feature is a karaoke sing along where you can sing your favorite songs from High School Musical.  Wild Cats tryouts is a basketball game played with your remote control from different vantages points.  You can play along with friends for points in an elimination tournament, where the winner will be named the captain of the basketball team. There is a Career Quiz feature where a series of questions are asked to you to help determine what might be the best career for you in the future. There is also a BBF feature where you can play along with your friends to see how well you know each other. Then there is a Party Play feature where you can do a vocabulary test where you need to describe something without saying the words. Art Class is kind of like a charades game where you need to draw something that's in High School Musical and the other team needs to guess it, and drama class is where you need to act out scenes or characters from the film.

I went over this DVD game with a fine tooth and comb, although as a parent of just a young child I had no to really play the games with, it looks like it will be a lot of fun for kids ages 4 and up, although its safe for anyone to play.  I did play around with the Basketball game which is a lot of fun and did try my best to answer some of the questions with the quizzes to find out I probably know more about High School Musical than I really should. My honest opinion is that I think this is a smart idea from Disney because it's a way of playing video games that keeps your kids active instead of sitting on the couch and playing with a controller, this DVD makes them get up and move around a lot to the majority of the games rather than keeping them stationary. It's a great DVD game for sleepovers with friends, rainy days or Birthday parties.

The DVD also comes with an instruction booklet as well as a "How to Play" feature on the DVD itself. The DVD also includes some sneak peaks of upcoming Disney films on DVD and coming soon to theaters.
