Scrooge McDuck tells the story to Jiminy Cricket. In one segment, when he hears about the giant, Jiminy falls into his drink and passes out and almost drowns. It seems like the both of them might be drinking liquor, but it's not mentioned. One can take it as they are drinking orange soda or something but Jiminy does have the hiccups.

Mickey and the Beanstalk has a few things of concern.  Because of a famine Mickey, Donald and Goofy are hungry, Donald goes crazy and eats the rest of the food and tries to kill their only cow with an ax before he is stopped by Mickey and Goofy. Goofy's Adam apple punches Donald in the face. Donald flips out, his eyes turn red, and he hangs from the ceiling in a rage after finding out Mickey sold the cow for magic beans. You can say that Mickey, Donald and Goofy are trespassing on the giants land and breaking and entering when they go into his castle and eat his food. But the Giant in return kind of kidnaps them as well. The Giant chases and captures our characters, but is kind of gullible and is easily tricked. He does get angry when he is tricked, because the giant can turn himself into anything he wants. Mickey tries to get him to turn into a fly so he can hit him with the fly swatter. Mickey falls into a pile of snuff, he also falls off a shelf but just hangs on in time by a key. Donald is hit in the head a few times by Goofy.  Mickey ties the giants shoe laces together and the Giant wakes up angry and chases Mickey with a club destroying things in his path. Mickey makes a trip wire from a vine and tips the giant. Of course the giant falls from the beanstalk at the end and dies because Donald, Goofy and Mickey chop it down., but it's not shown on screen.

The Brave Little Tailor starts of with Mickey Mouse killing flies with a fly swatter.  He then over hears people outside about asking someone if they ever killed a giant. Goofy in knights armor runs into the kings thrown and and armor falls all over the place. Mickey explains to the king swinging his fists how he beat up a giant, he is then appointed killer of the giants by the king. Mickey on his journey is almost squashed by the walking giant. The Giant sits on a house to rest squashing the house. While eating pumpkins he throws Mickey down his throat by mistake, Mickey however ends up alive and well in his stomach and grabs onto a rope and finds his way out. The Giant puts hay into a piece of paper, rolls it us like a cigar and smokes it. Mickey is caught inside the cigar and coughs his way out of it, but ends up in the hands of the giant hitting him in the nose. The giant continues to chase Mickey who is running all over his body tying the big man up, until the giant falls to the ground. Mickey is them praised by the king and is seen kissing Minnie Mouse on a carousel.

Though the Mirror shows the ghost of Mickey Mouse leave his body while he is sleeping and he walks though the mirror where all of his house hold belongings have come to life. A nutcracker is shown cracking and eating nuts. Mickey turns large and small and hits his head on the ceiling. He gets into an argument with a telephone. Mickey dances with a matchstick that lights itself up and Mickey puts out the fire with his foot. He is also shuffled into a deck of cards, but seems to be unharmed by the experience. Mickey dances with the queen of hearts and is slapped in the face and almost stabbed with a sword by the king of hearts. The two get into a sword fight where Mickey throws the King of Hearts in an ink tray. All the card then are called to attack Mickey. Who shoots them all with an ink pen. He runs from them when the almost catch him in a basket, they throw their card types at him but he escapes by turning on a fan and blowing them away. He runs back though the mirror and into his body, just as his alarm clock rings, but wakes up throwing punches.

Gulliver Mickey is an older toon produced by Disney and is in black and white. There is a bunch oh mice in a makeshift boat where they fall out of it and hunt themselves, yet they all stop crying when Mickey tells them of his story. One of them pulls on Pluto's tale and the poor dogs howls. Mickey is shown being thrown around by waves who toss him up onto a beach. He wakes up tied up by little people. One of which he accidently swallows while sleeping, but the little man makes it out OK. But when he brakes free the little people get violent sending out cannons and men with swords to poke at him. He tickles the leader of the little people and the little guy tries to stick him with his sword.  They shoot cannonballs at Mickey, but they don't seem to hurt him, that is until they shoot an arrow at him which hits him in the rear. He is shot in the nose with a canon ball, but then blows up the cannon by sticking his finger in it. But then a giant spider attacks the village and Mickey. The Spider is beaten up and pounded by Mickey, but the Spider also fights back. They brawl a bit until Mickey knocks the spider senseless. He is them seen beating on a pillow as the story cuts back to him telling the story to the little mice.

Mr. Mouse Takes A Trip shows Mickey at a train stop with Pluto. As the train passes the both of them a blown about. The train conductor won't let Pluto on and throws him at Mickey letting him know no dogs are allowed. Mickey then stuffs Pluto into his suitcase to get on the train. OVERALL VIEWS

Just like the other discs in the Walt Disney Animation Classic short film collection; this disc contains more of those classic cartoons that are timeless. These films feature classic Disney characters such as Mickey, Donald and Goofy in storybook fairytales that we all have grown up reading about. Like I said in my previous reviews of these disc, we must remember that these films were made in a time where animated violence had no rating, and was all considered harmless, but in these times we know that some things in cartoons and movies can upset some kids, and there are a few little acts of animated violence in some of the short cartoons on this disc. They still however are timeless classics that a re a piece of animation and movie history that every child should have the pleasure of watching.

The DVD includes five classic Disney shorts and the Disney Fast Play feature, English, French, and Spanish Subtitles are also available on the disc. The Disc also come with a collectible Litho Print.
