SYNOPSIS

Twin Witches Alex and Camtyn are from a royal blood line, but it's not part of our world, instead they are twin witches from a magical world in which they can travel back and forth in-between. Both girls really don't know much about one another and this is a chance for them to both get to know about one another lives. (There was a first Twitches film Which I never saw which I believe explains more of a back story).  Both twins are having problems controlling their magical  powers and  some of them get the twins in a bind, but it all works out in the end. Both girls have different goals in life, however something fishy is happening and both girls will have to set their goals aside and help their mother in the magical realm of Coventry defeat an evil  shadow that has been lurking around. By solving this mystery it might just lead to the truth about what happened to the girls father and help save Coventry.

VIOLENCE/GRAPHIC CONTENT/language

There is very limited to almost no violence or bad language at all in this film at all. Mainly we get a few little verbal disagreements and there is a bit of magical fights involved but nothing that would effect your children in anyway. There are a few scares but there what I like to call the Disney scares, where their done in a more comedic way than they are in a horrific one.  The film does however deal with some real life issues such as dating and the sorts so that might not be something you want your very young kids to watch as they might not understand how it figures into the plot. Other than that this film is a very safe movie to watch with very minimal things to worry about.

OVERALL VIEWS

Twitches Too is actually a sequel to the equal popular Twitches which was released by Disney in 2005 on the Disney channel.  I have never seen the first film and I was kind of confused when the movie began because there is a portal between our world and a magic one that the girls can travel in-between. I honestly didn't really catch onto the story that well so watching the first film might be a better option to go before you see the second one. I'm sure most children who watch the Disney channel probably have seen the first movie. So they will probably understand what is going on better with the sequel.

The movie is a cute little film, nothing to fancy and special. It's a safe movie that is kind of like a toned down version of Harry Potter except it's aimed more towards a younger audience, mainly girls over boys. It has that cute Disney princess feel to it that I'm sure many young girls would enjoy.  Personally as a parent I found it to be boring, but it's just one of those movies that is made for young girls to enjoy and that's about it. It's a cute safe little film with no real violence or graphic content that will make parents worry about letting their children watch the film. Younger kids proably will get bored quick with the movie so I think it's best suited for children over six years of age.
